Legal interpretation
Understand the Dutch framework and its governance implications.
Approximately two days • open or in-company
A deeper learning route for participants who need more than a concise boardroom session. The Advanced Training provides time for legal interpretation, risk management, duty-of-care assessment, assurance, reporting, cases and application.
Deeper learning objective
The programme is designed for directors, supervisory board members, audit-committee members and senior governance professionals who need to work through the subject in greater depth. More time supports discussion, reflection and the careful assessment of real management information and dilemmas.
Participants learn to connect the legal framework with risk, controls, suppliers, incidents, assurance and demonstrable decisions.
Programme
The final programme is aligned with the participants and sector. The core route covers the following subjects.
Active processing
Participants assess cases, compare options and practise the questions that reveal the quality of a risk assessment or control framework. Reporting examples are used to distinguish information that supports board judgement from operational detail that belongs elsewhere.
The programme also allows each participant to formulate role-specific actions and questions for their own organisation.
Understand the Dutch framework and its governance implications.
Weigh scenarios, controls, residual risk and alternative decisions.
Assess evidence, KPIs, KRIs, assurance and escalation.
Delivery
An open programme supports exchange between sectors and roles. An in-company route can use the organisation's governance and reporting context and create a more focused shared analysis.
The programme, learning objectives, attendance and certificate are aligned so the organisation can demonstrate what was covered. The full route is available in English.
